A Tiresome Loathing for the Present Times

Rarely do I come across normal nowadays. With political fanatics at the helm of affairs, one wonders whether it's really a world of sanity out there. Should I become a chameleon with my own camouflage of deceptivity and try surviving a little longer? The doubts in our minds aren't misplaced. You never know in which dungeon you would discover yourself next for raising your voice against a 'regime' comprising of clowns who have taken their circus lessons rather too seriously and continue practising it publicly outside the arena.
What we are witnessing in India currently is a war of sorts.
While the politicos continue their random banter (something which is incomprehensible
to us all, or rather they like to keep it that way, I suppose?), we only watch as
passive spectators of their lunacy. The parliament better be converted to a waste
management facility. Those are precisely the state of affairs there. I wonder, do
we really need that house?
Little did Jack Dorsey and his team know that his social network
would become the battleground for the 'Great Indian Kichad Uchhalo Slugfest’? What
has ensued is a bunch of fools (chosen by even bigger fools), who have managed to
take this nation for a ride with their foolhardiness and their relentless attitude
of displaying the levels of denigration they could stoop to.
Being a youngster who is still trying to find a meaning to his
own life, you may question my expertise in a subject so intense. Refraining from
answering that, I would rather raise certain questions. Haven't we placated ourselves
for a tad too long now? Haven't we stayed bystanders for a larger part of our lives? Don't
we need our voices to be heard? We don't need rocket science to understand that
the answers to these questions are paramount in the prevailing times. It may not
seem immediately ostensible, but these are times of turmoil which need our immediate
attention.
If things continue the way they are, it wouldn't be long before
we become dummies following the footsteps of rulers who eventually caused the downfall
of all. We never had their complacency in our minds when we chose them to guide
us. With all the consternation our 'able leaders' are drawing nowadays, its high time that a tsunami
of dismayed and disgruntled civilians strike them, who stop at nothing, but only
after they have succeeded in teaching these self-proclaimed narcissists a true lesson
of love for their motherland.
